1. Does does the RJLSC have the power to discipline the President, Judges and employees of the Caribbean Court of Justice?

The RJLSC is responsible for exercising disciplinary control over the Staff of the Court and the Judges of the Court other than the President. Under the Agreement Establishing the Caribbean Court of Justice, the RJLSC does not possess the jurisdiction over the President in relation to disciplinary matters, for whom there is a separate process under the Agreement Establishing the Caribbean Court of Justice.

Yes, Mme. Justice Hilary Phillips, CD, JA (ret’d), KC serves as the current Deputy Chair of the Commission.
